Description

You will lead the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of ultrapure water and wastewater treatment plants for Starlink's manufacturing facilities in Bastrop, TX, including one of the largest PCB and solar cell production lines. This role drives compliance, zero-liquid discharge, and cross-functional team collaboration to support SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM
• 8+ years in wastewater treatment design, construction, and operations for industrial facilities
• 2+ years leading engineering teams
• Knowledge of US environmental regulations and permitting
• Ability to travel internationally (10%) and work in industrial environments

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of UPW and wastewater treatment facilities from design through operations
• Ensure compliance with EPA/NPDES regulations and ultrapure water reuse goals
• Develop specifications for advanced treatment processes (membrane, AOP, ZLD)
• Manage cross-functional engineering teams and external EPC contractors
• Oversee post-commissioning operations with predictive maintenance and SCADA automation
