💼 About This Role

You'll join Etched building the world's first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers, delivering over 10x higher performance than GPUs. You'll own block-level implementation and timing closure, collaborating with RTL designers to optimize PPA and improve design flows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Run PD flows to close blocks and support ASIC infrastructure
• Collaborate with RTL designers to improve PPA
• Drive timing closure and convergence dashboards
• Supervise physical design outsourcing to 3rd parties

📋 Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in physical design
• Expertise in back-end design on advanced nodes (5nm and below)
• Experience with Cadence or Synopsys RTL-to-GDSII flows
• Proficiency with sign-off tools like PrimeTime, Tempus, Voltus

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with transformer models and machine learning
• Ability to program with Python or another scripting language
• Startup experience in fast-paced environments
