You'll ensure content accessibility across NordVPN's globally distributed edge infrastructure, working at the intersection of networking, load balancing, and traffic shaping. Your core impact involves troubleshooting connection, latency, and accessibility issues end to end. This role stands out as you'll own HTTP traffic flow from client to edge to origin, ensuring millions of users get reliable, fast, and secure access worldwide.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Ensure content accessibility across global edge infrastructure
• Design, operate, and improve load balancing and traffic shaping systems
• Troubleshoot connection, latency, and accessibility issues end to end
• Own HTTP traffic flow from client to edge to origin

📋 Requirements

• Load balancing and traffic shaping experience
• NGINX and/or HAProxy configuration in high-traffic environments
• Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, firewall)
• Python programming for automation and tooling

✨ Nice to Have

• Advanced networking (anycast, BGP, traffic engineering)
• Deep understanding of HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, WebSocket
• Proxy protocols (PROXY protocol v1/v2, reverse proxy patterns)
