Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Driver XP team at Lyft, you'll collaborate with product, data science, and operations to build features that improve the experience for drivers and passengers. You'll write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to roadmap and architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience with high-level languages
• BS/MS in Computer Engineering, CS, or equivalent experience
• Strong background in distributed systems and databases
• Experience designing fault-tolerant, large-scale distributed systems
• Proficiency with Python and Go is a plus

Responsibilities

• Write maintainable code and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Join on-call rotation and resolve incidents
• Contribute to roadmap, architecture, and hiring activities
