You'll provide overall medical direction for a hospice program, ensuring quality care for terminally ill patients. You'll act as a hospice champion in the community and liaise with physicians to promote services. This role offers the opportunity to shape protocols and impact end-of-life care.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide overall medical direction to the hospice program
• Review patients' medical eligibility and establish plans of care
• Consult with attending physicians on pain and symptom management
• Attend interdisciplinary group meetings to coordinate care

📋 Requirements

• Licensed as a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy in the state
• Maintain controlled substances registration with state and federal
• Experience in hospice or palliative care
• Board certification in hospice and palliative medicine preferred

• Experience as a medical director in hospice
• Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation for hospice
