💼 About This Role

You'll build and operate cloud-native systems supporting vehicle telemetry and fleet management at a growing electric mobility company. You'll lead reliability engineering efforts, optimize streaming data pipelines, and automate infrastructure to ensure high availability. This role offers the chance to shape the platform from an early stage.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Operationalize microservices on Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS ECS
• Optimize vehicle telemetry ingestion with streaming systems
• Lead incident response and define SLOs/SLIs
• Develop observability with Datadog, Grafana, and logging pipelines

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years experience in data/platform engineering
• Deep expertise with AWS data services (S3, Kinesis, Glue, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with streaming architectures (Kafka/Kinesis)
• Strong backend skills in Python or Java/Scala

• Experience with vehicle or sensor data
• Streaming-first architecture experience
• Prior Staff-level ownership of data platforms
