💼 About This Role

You'll lead cross-functional projects and drive regulatory compliance for Oscar's Utilization Management (UM) team. You'll work with internal and external stakeholders to interpret and apply new regulations, ensuring accurate implementation across UM operations. This role offers the opportunity to shape processes at a top tech-driven health insurance company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations/projects, including project plan creation and stakeholder engagement.
• Evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, and analyzing data and metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret and apply new regulations for UM operations.
• Coordinate regulatory request management including market conduct exams, URA filings, license renewals, and MHPAEA compliance.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years commensurate experience
• 3+ years of work experience in healthcare Utilization Management operations or health insurance
• 2+ years of experience supporting regulatory compliance activities including MHPAEA, market conduct exams, license renewals, or NCQA surveys
• 2+ years of experience in end-to-end project management or process improvement initiatives

• 2+ years of experience using data software such as Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, and cross-functional teams
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints
