Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead technical decisions and own projects from architecture to deployment, building solutions that help home service professionals run their businesses. You'll collaborate with product and engineering teams, mentor peers, and drive best practices while working on a product used by 75k daily users.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience designing and building resilient, highly scalable applications
• Experience mentoring and coaching less experienced engineers
• Ability to operate independently and make sound architectural decisions in fast-moving environments
• Product-first mindset with focus on delivering business and user value

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture discussions and drive system design, data modeling, and service reliability implementations
• Own projects end-to-end from architecture to deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutions
• Define and champion technical direction, standards, and best practices as we scale
• Mentor junior developers on technical designs, merge requests, and other areas
