Description

As a Senior Product Security Engineer at Harness, you'll drive hands-on security initiatives across the platform, partnering with engineering teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. You'll design security APIs, conduct threat modeling, perform penetration tests, and build tooling to elevate security throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant industry experience with strong security focus
• BS in Computer Science or related degree
• Proficiency in Java or comparable OOP language
• Experience with DevSecOps and secure SDLC methodologies
• Experience with cloud environments (K8s, AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop product security APIs, tools, and utilities
• Conduct threat modeling and secure design reviews
• Perform advanced penetration tests and adversarial attack simulations
• Lead manual and automated code review efforts
• Implement and operate SAST, DAST, SCA tooling in CI/CD pipelines
