Description

You will perform dynamic tests (shock and vibration) for the development, qualification, and acceptance of components and subsystems for our launch vehicle. You will work at our vibration test facilities, operate test equipment, and collaborate with avionics, propulsion, and launch vehicle teams to identify failure modes and improvements.

Requirements

• B.Sc/M.Sc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering or similar
• Experience in hardware qualification acceptance for aerospace, specifically vibration and shock testing
• Experience with structure-related qualification tests (random vibration, sine-sweep, sine dwell, mechanical shock, centrifuge) per industry standards
• Hands-on work experience with test set-up

Responsibilities

• Perform vibration and shock tests at internal and external facilities
• Develop and procure new test equipment when necessary
• Plan, prepare, execute tests, process data, and write reports
• Collaborate with teams to prepare test specifications and advise on dynamic tests
• Develop and maintain internal test standards and procedures
