Description

You will lead end-to-end safety program execution for functional safety workstreams, coordinating across hardware, embedded software, and controls domains. You'll translate ISO 26262 requirements into actionable plans, drive safety artifacts from concept through validation, and ensure the safety case is rigorous and audit-ready.

Requirements

• 4-6 years experience in systems engineering, safety engineering, or technical program management in automotive, AV, robotics, or adjacent domains
• Hands-on familiarity with ISO 26262 processes and work products (FSR, TSR, HARA, FMEA, safety plans, etc.)
• Experience working across at least two of: Controls, Hardware, or Embedded Software disciplines
• Ability to manage complex, multi-team programs with competing priorities and tight timelines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program execution for functional safety workstreams across Controls, HW, and Embedded SW teams
• Develop and maintain program schedules, risk registers, and cross-functional dependency maps
• Drive development and maintenance of Functional Safety Requirements (FSRs) and Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs) in alignment with ISO 26262
• Support HARA, FMEA, FTA, and safety goal derivation processes
• Partner with integration and validation teams to define safety-relevant test strategies and track coverage
