Description

You will lead a team building infrastructure for AI agents to interact with Stripe's financial platform, defining strategy and shipping high-leverage tools for developers and their agents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering management experience, managing teams of 10+ engineers
• Deep domain expertise in Agentic AI or building developer tools and back-end systems
• Exceptional communication skills to distill complex technical concepts for executives
• Experience in rapid-growth environments with high-volume hiring and team scaling
• Technical proficiency to engage on system architecture, API design, and AI model integration

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a team of 10+ engineers, owning hiring roadmap and professional development
• Define long-term vision for how AI agents consume Stripe's APIs and services
• Foster a bias-for-action culture to ship rapidly without sacrificing reliability
• Oversee design and delivery of complex back-end systems and developer tools
• Collaborate with senior leadership to influence company-wide AI integration strategy
