Description

As a QA Lead at Codal, you will drive quality throughout the entire product lifecycle—from discovery and solution workshops to defining test strategies and influencing architectural decisions. You'll collaborate with product and engineering leadership to translate business requirements into effective quality frameworks, risk-based testing, and automation approaches, ensuring that quality is a proactive driver of business value.

Requirements

• Experience leading large-scale QA teams and building scalable QA practices
• Strong background in business analysis to translate enterprise objectives into quality frameworks
• Proficiency in risk-based testing, impact analysis, and release readiness planning
• Ability to evaluate automation feasibility and define automation approach
• Experience with non-functional validation: load testing, security, accessibility

Responsibilities

• Lead quality during product discovery by participating in solution workshops and requirement refinement
• Identify gaps, edge cases, and integration risks; define testable acceptance criteria
• Create high-level test strategies covering UI, API, integration, and regression testing
• Own QA deliverables: test plans, coverage reports, risk assessments, and release readiness checklists
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to influence architectural decisions for testability
