You'll lead a team developing advanced mapping and localization solutions for embedded camera systems at Hayden AI. You'll oversee research to deployment of large-scale SLAM algorithms and shape the technical roadmap. This role combines deep computer vision expertise with team leadership impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and mentor a team developing mapping, localization, and SLAM algorithms.
• Set technical direction and align project priorities with organizational goals.
• Drive cross-functional projects from conception to deployment.
• Provide technical guidance on algorithm design and system architecture.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience (or 8+ with M.S., 6+ with Ph.D.).
• C++ development and geometric computer vision expertise.
• Deep understanding of filtering algorithms (Kalman, particle filters) and optimization.
• Proven experience leading teams in state estimation or SLAM technologies.

✨ Nice to Have

• Deployed SLAM/VIO estimators in real-world applications.
• Experience with multi-sensor systems (GPS, IMU, camera, wheel odometry).
• Published research in robotics or computer vision community.
