You'll architect and scale enterprise-grade data platforms for a next-generation banking technology company, owning the reliability and performance of PostgreSQL RDS environments and real-time data pipelines. Your work directly impacts 25 million+ live cards across 7 countries, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime for a $2B fintech.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own reliability, availability, and performance of PostgreSQL RDS environments
• Lead monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
• Architect backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
• Optimize Debezium and Kafka Connect for real-time data ingestion
• Troubleshoot ETL workflows and data pipelines for fault tolerance

📋 Requirements

• 10–12 years of overall experience in database engineering or reliability engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including AWS RDS administration
• Strong experience with Debezium, Kafka Connect, and enterprise data pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Crossplane

• AWS Certified Database - Specialty certification
• Master's degree in computer science or related field
• Experience with Apache Spark and large-scale distributed data processing
