Description

You will coordinate schedules, assign responsibilities, and monitor activities in a residential setting to support neurodiverse individuals. You'll help them learn life skills, integrate into the community, and live more independently while fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy to complete electronic documentation
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to pass and maintain required trainings and certifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Degree in Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred
  • Must have satisfactory background checks
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Ability to handle physical aspects including bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, reaching, walking
  • Must be able to perform all physical management techniques required
  • May be required to transport individuals and travel
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a positive and productive workplace atmosphere
  • Support individuals with learning life skills and community integration
  • Assist with daily activities including menu planning, meal preparation, cleaning, and other household tasks
  • Provide support with self-care tasks
  • Ensure a safe inclusive environment through documentation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
  • Support Program Manager with Therap uploads, documentation, program finances, meal planning
  • Schedule medical appointments and conduct environmental checks
  • Oversee maintenance needs and fleet management
  • Support financial management for the program
  • Foster a positive work environment and champion teamwork
  • Coordinate with other departments
  • Provide leadership and guidance to shift operations including data collection, ISP/IEP goals, community inclusion
  • Participate in training sessions
  • Communicate feedback to manager to assist with supervisory process
