Description

You will perform maintenance and repair on plant production equipment and building facilities, working with production to ensure timely repairs. This role offers a chance to build a career with an industry leader in architectural glass and building products.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in equipment and facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Able to exercise independent judgment and make logical decisions
• Able to respond to emergency situations after regular business hours
• Requires electrical experience
• Must be able to operate power industrial trucks and work at heights of 50+ feet

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, disassemble and reassemble machinery or equipment to make necessary adjustments
• Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts and equipment
• Study blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation
• Fabricate and weld as necessary to repair parts and equipment
• Record parts and materials used to order replacements
