💼 About This Role

You'll play a hands-on role in keeping financial operations running smoothly at a growth-stage fintech. You'll handle month-end close, reconciliations, tax submissions, and audit support while collaborating across teams. This role offers exposure to multi-currency environments in a fast-growing company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Process journal entries and review account balances for month-end close.
• Reconcile bank accounts and aggregator statements with Treasury team.
• Own expense allocations across Business Units and Products.
• Assist with payment run approvals and reconcile company loans.
• Support audit requirements and prepare tax returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).

📋 Requirements

• Completed BCom Accounting or related degree.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience with month-end and reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of South African tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).
• Proficiency in Xero and strong Excel skills.
