As a Senior Platform Architect at Temporal, you'll own production readiness and activation for customers, guiding them from purchase to stable production. You'll drive adoption, shape delivery patterns, and establish operational standards to ensure long-term technical health. Your work will accelerate customer success and create competitive advantage.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering or solutions engineering experience
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and reliability engineering
• Proficiency in Go, Java, TypeScript, or Python
• Experience building, deploying, and operating production systems at scale
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own production readiness and activation for customers
• Drive first production workflow and reduce time-to-production
• Establish guardrails for reliability, failure handling, scaling, and upgrades
• Make developers Temporal SDK experts and platform architects Temporal best practice experts
• Set up alerting to proactively catch issues
