Description

You will join IXL Learning to maintain the reliability, uptime, and scalability of our personalized learning products used by millions worldwide. You'll work with production stacks, develop monitoring dashboards, and partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or related discipline
• 6+ years of professional hands-on software engineering or SRE experience
• Experience with object-oriented languages (Java, C++, C)
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud (AWS or GCP)

Responsibilities

• Master production technology stacks and ensure site performance, uptime, and scalability
• Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerting, and runbook documentation
• Identify technical problems and develop solutions
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Build and propose architecture changes for scalability and reliability
