You'll build, operate, and maintain high-performance infrastructure for Palantir's platform deployed in critical environments like combat zones and classified networks. You'll combine hardware-level engineering with automation to scale and improve systems. This role demands deep focus on low-level systems and physical bare metal servers in edge environments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain availability of cloud & physical Kubernetes servers in air-gapped environments.
• Design, deploy, and operate infrastructure via orchestration & monitoring platforms.
• Collaborate with product teams on requirements & SLOs for deploying software.
• Troubleshoot and solve network & systems issues.
• Script to automate routine operational tasks.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience managing medium to large scale systems.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of Kubernetes, Cassandra, Hadoop, and distributed systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, etc.) and network engineering.
• Knowledge of database systems like Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• Ability to advise customers on hardware purchases and capacity planning.
