You'll create compelling stories for WZZM-TV Grand Rapids, the ABC TEGNA affiliate. You'll report, shoot, and edit across all platforms to deliver trusted local news. This role offers a chance to innovate storytelling in a supportive, award-winning newsroom.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform authoritative live shots in developing or breaking news
• Develop story ideas and mine community sources
• Shoot, write, produce, and edit on-air and online content
• Use social media and digital tools to discover and distribute content

📋 Requirements

• 1-3 years reporting experience
• Solid news judgment and ethical decision-making
• Strong writing and production skills
• Ability to operate news gathering vehicle and valid driver's license

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ENPS, EDIUS, and Axis graphics
• Knowledge of Grand Rapids
• Proven social and digital content creation ability
