Description

You will manage delinquent accounts, conduct outbound and inbound collection calls, and resolve complex loan servicing issues to minimize losses. You'll work with customers to find win-win solutions like payment extensions or refinancing, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED; some college preferred
• 2 years of collections or servicing experience, ideally in auto finance
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel; ability to learn web-based systems (LoanPro)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills; bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain delinquency and mitigate losses through outbound and inbound collection calls
• Comply with federal and state collection and servicing laws
• Provide follow-up on delinquent accounts (5-90+ days)
• Investigate and resolve complex loan servicing issues (e.g., insurance claims, repossessions)
• Offer payment extensions and refinance options to customers
