💼 About This Role

You'll lead the weather team at WZZM 13, the ABC affiliate in Grand Rapids, overseeing sustained severe weather coverage and delivering audience-focused forecasts daily. You'll drive the Weather Impact Alert brand and engage the community across all platforms.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create and implement strategic direction for weather coverage
• Build and deliver daily engaging weathercasts for on-air and digital
• Supervise and mentor the weather team
• Coordinate with external agencies for emergency response

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in meteorology
• 5–7 years of on-air experience
• AMS Certification or NWA Seal preferred
• Leadership experience managing a team

• Fluent in social media platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
