You'll lead the Observability team at Aiven, providing observability solutions for all customers. You'll drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and product differentiation. This role offers the chance to work with open-source technology and shape multi-cloud observability.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with Product Manager to create the team's roadmap
• Oversee the team's backlog and provide stakeholder updates
• Champion a culture of urgency and ownership
• Empower the team to act as product custodians
• Provide clear goals and feedback to drive performance

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on programming experience
• 2+ years people leadership experience
• Extensive experience with observability concepts (SLAs, SLOs, SLIs)
• Experience with distributed systems in a cloud environment

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ClickHouse for logs, metrics, and OpenTelemetry
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Experience in recruiting engineering talent
