💼 About This Role

You'll lead electrical engineering for utility-scale BESS projects from concept through construction. Your work directly enables a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries. This role offers the chance to drive standards and mentor junior engineers in a mission-driven company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead electrical design for utility-scale BESS projects
• Design AC/DC systems including transformers, inverters, and combiners
• Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, and protection strategies
• Perform power system studies (short circuit, arc flash, coordination)

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited program
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Nevada or able to obtain within 2 months
• 5+ years experience in solar, storage, or microgrid sectors
• Expertise in NEC 705, NEC 706, IEEE 1547, UL 9540, NFPA 855

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency in PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, or EMTC
• Experience with HVDC system design
• Advanced AutoCAD/Revit skills
