Description

You will lead backend design and development for scalable, maintainable systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve engineering practices, and monitor production systems at Payoneer, a global financial platform serving underserved businesses.

Requirements

• 6-8 years backend engineering experience
• Proficiency in C#, Java, Nodejs or similar OOP languages
• Experience with SQL Server and database management
• Experience with message queues or streaming platforms (RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka)
• BSc/BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead team goals in design, architecture, development, quality, and deployment
• Design and implement robust, scalable backend solutions
• Collaborate with Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other teams
• Improve engineering practices and suggest technology or process enhancements
• Monitor production systems and resolve critical challenges
