You will lead the design and development of next-generation high-power EV charging and energy conversion systems. Requirements
- M.S. in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering; Ph.D. preferred
- 10+ years of hands-on experience bringing power electronics products to market
- Strong expertise in AC/DC and DC/DC converter design and high-power hardware architecture
- Proficiency in embedded firmware development for microcontrollers, DSPs, and FPGAs
- Deep understanding of simulation tools (PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE)
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of power electronics engineers, delegate tasks, resolve technical challenges, and foster cross-functional collaboration
- Lead architecture, design, and development of high-power AC/DC and DC/DC systems for EV chargers
- Oversee design of advanced soft-switching converters and multi-level grid-tied inverters compliant with regulations
- Manage end-to-end product development including system modeling, schematic capture, PCB layout, and embedded firmware
- Implement advanced topologies such as LLC, phase-shifted full-bridge, and PFC with soft-switching techniques
