💼 About This Role

You'll prepare high-quality meals for guests and crew aboard an expedition vessel, focusing on crew meal execution and action station service. You'll support the Head and Sous Chef while maintaining sanitation standards in a fast-paced galley environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Prepare guest and crew meals following menu matrix and recipes.
  • Work action stations during meal periods (omelets, carving, sauté).
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down the hot line.
  • Maintain cleanliness of galley and food storage areas.

📋 Requirements

  • 3+ years culinary experience on passenger ships preferred.
  • Ability to stand 10-12 hours daily in a high-temperature galley.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Completion of culinary school training.
  • STCW Basic Safety Training and other maritime certifications.
  • Experience with passenger vessels.
