Description

You will join a cross-functional team, owning the services your team manages and mentoring more junior engineers. You will design technical solutions, ship code using Kotlin, React, and Postgres, and iterate based on user feedback.

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience
• Experience in a mature Engineering team at a similar level
• Technical expertise with at least one programming language (Kotlin or Ruby preferred)
• Experience with relational databases
• Proven track record of impacting previous roles
• Highly driven and proactive
• Meticulous with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design solutions to business problems
• Ship working code using React, Kotlin, Postgres, and Ruby on Rails
• Deploy and iterate frequently using CircleCI and Spinnaker
• Build competency via learning and development budget
• Monitor services, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes
