You'll lead migration from monolithic to microservices architecture on the Imports Platform team at Okta. You'll own ambiguous, cross-team distributed systems challenges from ideation through production impact. This role offers career-defining work in identity lifecycle management at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own projects from zero to landing – ideation, design, implementation, deployment.
• Design core high-performance distributed systems with full production ownership.
• Drive migration strategy from monolith to microservices across multiple teams.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to deliver import and sync solutions.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems design and architecture.
• Experience with microservices migration from monolithic systems.
• Proficiency in Java or equivalent language.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) platforms.
• Familiarity with LDAP, Active Directory, or Office 365 directory services.
