💼 About This Role

You'll lead SEC reporting and technical accounting for a publicly traded fintech firm, partnering across Finance, Legal, and Audit. You'll own the preparation of Forms 10-K and 10-Q, drive accounting policy, and oversee compensation accounting. This role offers a chance to shape controls and automation in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare and review Forms 10-K and 10-Q for SEC compliance
• Own document quality control including iXBRL tagging and tie-outs
• Monitor new U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and disclosure requirements
• Lead compensation accounting and equity administration team

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years progressive accounting experience including public company reporting
• CPA in good standing
• Deep SEC reporting experience and knowledge of U.S. GAAP standards
• Experience overseeing compensation accounting and stock-based compensation

• Broker-dealer experience and FINRA Series 27
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting systems automation
