Description
You will serve as a senior field-based scientific expert for Cogent Biosciences’ lead program, bezuclastinib, engaging with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals across oncology, hematology/oncology, and allergy/immunology. This role focuses on scientific exchange, mentoring colleagues, and developing regional strategies to support corporate objectives.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of MSL experience in oncology or rare diseases
- Deep knowledge of KIT biology and associated diseases (GIST, SM) preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned territory as scientific and medical expert in GIST and Systemic Mastocytosis
- Lead scientific engagement with thought leaders, investigators, and HCPs to gather insights
- Develop and execute territory strategy aligned with regional business objectives
- Mentor colleagues and ensure consistency in scientific communication nationally
- Support Market Access and Clinical Development teams as needed
