Description

You will work with a small, growing team based in Umeå, Sweden, and collaborate with New York colleagues to build applications for Securities Finance, Futures, Execution Management, Risk, Custody, and Clearing systems. You'll design and develop mission-critical distributed systems in a cloud-native environment, contributing to the technological backbone of Clear Street's capital markets platform.

Requirements

• 1+ year professional experience designing and developing mission critical distributed systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering or related field
• Experience in Java and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience troubleshooting system performance
• Experience supporting and running systems in production

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mission-critical distributed systems with high performance, resiliency, and consistency
• Work with business partners to build and design new solutions
• Support and run systems in a production environment
• Troubleshoot system performance and take corrective action
• Build both client-side and server-side components end-to-end
