Description

As a Sr. Sourcing Specialist, you will manage construction and build strategies, conduct supplier analysis, negotiate contracts, and drive strategic sourcing initiatives to support SpaceX's Starship program. Your work will directly contribute to making humanity a multi-planetary species.

Requirements

• Advanced degree or bachelor's with 2+ years in engineering/supply chain/purchasing/contract negotiation, or 6+ years experience
• Technical procurement, manufacturing, and vendor management experience
• Experience reading datasheets, drawings, and blueprints
• Proven leadership and team building skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage implementation of construction and build strategies to reduce risk and meet purchasing targets
• Conduct supplier analysis and formulate strategic sourcing plans
• Manage supply base through supplier selection model and purchase order award strategy
• Direct initiatives for supplier quality, cost effectiveness, service levels, and delivery improvements
• Administer multimillion-dollar contracts and negotiate terms, pricing, and scope
