Description

As a Facilities Engineer at SpaceX, you will lead MEP engineering and construction projects for critical infrastructure supporting rocket development. You'll oversee project teams, resolve design conflicts, and coordinate with utility providers to ensure reliable power.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• 2+ years professional experience in MEP building systems design or build
• Experience with electrical and power distribution systems (600Vac), HVAC, plumbing systems
• Knowledge of delta/wye transformers, building lighting, facility grounding
• Ability to work extended hours and in various environments

Responsibilities

• Lead project team and contractors through MEP engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Develop drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace/industrial/commercial projects
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in real time
• Coordinate with electrical utility provider for reliable power service
