💼 About This Role

You'll design and deploy ML systems to detect fraud across MoonPay's crypto products, protecting customers in real time. You'll collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations to deliver end-to-end ML solutions that improve fraud detection and strengthen customer trust.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and deploy ML models for real-time and batch fraud detection.
• Develop and iterate fraud detection models through hypothesis-driven experimentation.
• Design features from large-scale datasets including real-time feature generation.
• Own full ML lifecycle: feature engineering, deployment, monitoring, improvement.

📋 Requirements

• Proven track record building and maintaining ML models in production (fraud/payments/risk).
• Ability to frame problems and iterate models through structured experimentation.
• Understanding of end-to-end ML lifecycle including monitoring and iteration.
• Experience designing real-time or high-throughput data systems (e.g., Apache Beam, Spark, BigQuery).

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with modern ML infrastructure tools (Kubeflow, Airflow, Vertex AI).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and distributed systems.
• Background in time series data, adversarial modeling, or counterfactual analysis.
