💼 About This Role
You'll build pipeline and execute on business development for defense, public safety, and PAV markets at an innovative aircraft company. You'll coordinate cross-functional deal teams to move opportunities from discovery through award, working with Engineering, Programs, Operations, Marketing, and Contracts. This role requires prospecting, account planning, and managing RFx responses to drive revenue growth.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Prospect and qualify leads, converting them into sales-accepted opportunities.
- Manage pipeline hygiene, opportunity tracking, and weekly forecasting.
- Coordinate RFP, RFI, and proposal responses with cross-functional inputs.
- Support customer discovery calls, meetings, and delivery handoffs.
📋 Requirements
- 4+ years in business development, sales, or proposal coordination.
- Experience with multi-market or multi-segment sales motions.
- Familiarity with RFP/RFI processes and structured proposals.
- Proficiency with CRM, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience in defense, public safety, aerospace, or government.
- Exposure to both government and commercial sales.
- Experience supporting trade shows or customer events.
