Description

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at GILLIG, you will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and repair manufacturing equipment like PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, and heavy machinery in a heavy-duty transit bus production environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environment
• Strong electrical maintenance skills (3-phase motors, VFDs, controls)
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical diagrams and technical manuals
• Own basic set of tools

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC/VFD issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repair
• Fabricate steel parts via measuring, cutting, welding
• Operate material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, boom lifts)
• Maintain safe work environment per OSHA regulations
