💼 About This Role

You'll deliver new product capabilities across OpenGov's platform, working full-stack from database models to UI components. You'll own features end-to-end, collaborate with Product and Design, and build AI-powered product features that transform government workflows. AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and Cursor are central to how you work daily.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and improve APIs, microservices, and frontend experiences
• Own features end-to-end from problem definition to production monitoring
• Build AI-powered product features like intelligent data analysis
• Use AI-assisted development tools as core part of workflow
• Produce clean code and conduct thorough code reviews

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience building scalable software
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React or similar)
• Comfortable working across full stack — frontend, backend, data layer
• Actively use AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot

• Experience working directly with customers to improve products
• Track record of experimenting with new AI tools and bringing them to team
• Previous work in govtech, fintech, or regulated SaaS environments
