You'll provide short-term housing intervention and case management to students and families experiencing homelessness in Seattle. Your core impact is ensuring housing stability through diversion, landlord liaison, and resource navigation. This role supports YWCA's Social Justice Initiative.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Conduct eligibility assessments and application assistance for housing programs.
  • Develop housing stability goals and action plans with clients.
  • Collaborate with landlords to negotiate payment plans and prevent eviction.
  • Document all client interactions and services accurately.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • BA in social services or related field, or 3 years related experience.
  • One year crisis intervention or housing sector experience.
  • Knowledge of housing resources and Landlord/Tenant Laws in Seattle/King County.
  • Valid Washington state driver's license and reliable vehicle.

  • Experience working with communities of color.
  • Experience advocating for persons with housing needs.
  • Case management certification.
