Description

As an Experienced Auto Technician at Carvana, you'll perform a full range of automotive repairs from light maintenance to heavy engine work and diagnostics on all makes and models. You'll use state-of-the-art tools in our high-tech Inspection Centers to ensure our cars are in first-rate condition, contributing to our mission of exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools; lift up to 60 pounds independently
• At least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment with exposure to weather conditions
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Responsibilities

• Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension, and heavy engine work
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including electric and hybrid vehicles
• Complete repairs for wheel bearings, axles, and climate control systems (AC, heater cores)
• Use safety equipment as required and work in a fast-paced production environment
• May be required to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
