Description

As a Field Maintenance Technician at Lessen, you'll respond to skilled maintenance and repair requests, manage budgets, and oversee comprehensive maintenance for properties in our portfolio. You'll work independently on work orders, coordinate with contractors, and perform preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry trades. This is a field-based role with a company vehicle and no on-call requirement, offering growth opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years verifiable hands-on experience in property management maintenance or related trade
• Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing repairs across plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry
• Proven ability to manage independent work orders and budget time/materials
• Current driver's license and automobile insurance
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally, and 75+ lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to skilled maintenance and repair requests
• Assist with scheduling, overseeing, and communicating with contractors for bids and quality checks
• Purchase maintenance supplies as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance and comprehensive repairs in plumbing, appliances, pool equipment, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior, and basic electrical
• Manage independent work orders, budget time and materials, and communicate effectively with contractors and clients
