Description

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Okta, you will collaborate with account executives to develop and execute territory strategies, conduct discovery to understand customer requirements, and deliver compelling demos and proof-of-concepts using Okta's Identity Platform for SLED accounts. You'll communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience and distill customer feedback to product teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience
• Experience selling into SLED accounts
• Strong understanding of IAM (SSO, MFA, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP)
• Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and security concerns
• Hands-on experience in web, mobile, or backend development (JavaScript, Java, Python, etc.) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account executives on territory and account strategies
• Conduct research to understand customer requirements and communicate business value
• Deliver POCs for complex use cases, coordinating with engineering teams
• Craft technical content for implementing specific use cases and best practices
• Prepare and deliver demos showcasing how Okta meets customer business needs
