Description

You will shape the foundations for product engineers at Airbnb to deliver fast, data-rich, and reliable user experiences. By collaborating closely with product teams, you'll design and implement improvements to front-end infrastructure and tooling that impact how teams build and ship products.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Extensive experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Proven track record on an Infrastructure or Platform team supporting medium to large engineering orgs.
• Strong skills in client networking, performance optimization, caching, client storage, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices.
• Interest in internal tooling and CLI applications.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Android and iOS engineers to develop cross-platform solutions.
• Partner with product teams to understand pain points, pilot solutions, and drive adoption of paved path tooling.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and support product foundation teams.
• Participate in all phases of software development from architecture to on-call.
