Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial HVAC service or maintenance experience
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and post-installation troubleshooting
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in diverse environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, outdoor conditions)

Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment start-up and commissioning of newly installed HVAC systems
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues such as electrical faults, refrigerant leaks, or airflow imbalances
  • Verify that control systems and safety devices are functioning correctly
  • Work with project managers and installation teams to resolve post-installation issues
  • Document all service and maintenance work performed
  • Provide clear communication to customers about system performance, recommended improvements, and service needs
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures
  • Participate in training to stay current with HVAC technologies, diagnostic tools, and energy efficiency practices
