Description

You will own the engineering design, development, and release of autonomous hardware for Nuro's L4 autonomy system. Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate sensing and electronics architecture, manage suppliers, and drive parts from concept to production readiness.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design of electro-mechanical hardware
• Experience across production pipeline from prototype to mass production
• Experience with manufacturing processes (sheet metal, injection molding, machining, casting)
• Proficiency in CAD (UG NX preferred)
• Experience working with suppliers and validation testing

Responsibilities

• Own engineering design, development, and release of autonomous hardware
• Lead specification and integration with vehicle partners
• Develop sensing and electronics architecture for self-driving robots
• Benchmark performance and drive make vs. buy decisions
• Manage parts through validation to production readiness
