💼 About This Role

You'll be the first to bring electricity, intelligence, and motion to a freshly built robotic welding cell. You'll execute the full Controls Bring-Up procedure, ensuring safety and functionality. This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of controls, robotics, and safety while mentoring junior technicians.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute full Controls Bring-Up on each new cell
• Configure managed switches and VLANs per network plan
• Run bit-level I/O checks and safety functional tests
• Document deviations and contribute to Confluence procedures

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years bringing up industrial automation cells
• Hands-on configuration of a current six-axis industrial robot controller
• Working proficiency with Logix-class safety PLC and Studio 5000
• EtherNet/IP networking on the plant floor

✨ Nice to Have

• Functional Safety Unit (FSU) configuration on Yaskawa controllers
• IO-Link master and device commissioning
• Python scripting for automating repetitive setup
