Description

You will architect and own the end-to-end hardware product lifecycle for Samsara's next-generation IoT devices, from concept and customer-driven innovation through high-volume manufacturing. You'll partner directly with customers and executive-level JDM partners to drive disruptive solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience shipping high-volume hardware programs with end-to-end ownership in partnership with JDM/ODM
• Expertise in low power design, battery technology, and optimization
• Proven ability to drive system architecture for complex products
• Experience with automotive/industrial environmental requirements
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and relocate to Bay Area

Responsibilities

• Own system architecture for next-gen products including feasibility, specification, validation, certification, and production
• Partner with Product Management and customers to drive customer-driven innovation
• Manage technical partnership with JDM partners for high-volume global deployment
• Own EE architecture: chipset/SoC selection, power budgets, RF/antenna, thermals, sensor integration, PCB design
• Spearhead prototyping, validation, and field testing as technical authority for system-level debug
