You'll lead pastry and baking classes at Sur La Table, a leading culinary retailer. You'll inspire customers with hands-on instruction in pastry techniques while driving sales of bakeware and decorating tools. This role combines teaching expertise with retail engagement to create memorable culinary experiences.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Deliver in-store pastry and baking classes following provided recipes
- Drive sales by promoting retail items used in classes and encouraging second sign-ups
- Set up and break down classes including prep and cleaning
- Maintain food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness
📋 Requirements
- 1-2 years kitchen operations experience
- Valid Food Manager Certification
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to work 12-16 hours per week including nights and weekends
